Thomas, known as The Kilted Photographer, is an award-winning aerial and immersive photographer based in Falkirk, Scotland, recognised for capturing the nation’s landscapes, landmarks and atmosphere from truly distinctive perspectives.

His photographic journey began in 2015 with the purchase of his first DSLR camera, igniting a passion for Scotland’s history, heritage and natural beauty. That passion led to the creation of The Kilted Photographer — a brand devoted to storytelling through imagery and celebrating Scotland from ground level to sky.

Self-taught and shaped by years of hands-on experience, Thomas has refined a unique visual style defined by creativity, precision and place. Since moving into drone photography in 2017, he has become a fully insured commercial operator holding Operational Authorisation from the CAA. Alongside aerial imagery, he also specialises in 360° photography and immersive virtual tours, delivering richly interactive visual experiences that place viewers at the heart of the landscape.
